Patricia Hoyt

MS, LPC, NCC, CRADC | Licensed Professional Counselor

Hi, I’m Patricia (AKA: Tricia). For more than a decade, I’ve helped women who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in survival mode begin creating lives that feel safer, calmer, and more authentic.

I specialize in supporting women experiencing Borderline Personality Disorder, complex trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, difficult relationship patterns, and substance-use concerns. Many of the women I work with feel deeply, carry more than they share, and have spent years putting everyone else’s needs ahead of their own.

I hold two master’s degrees—one in Psychology with an emphasis in addiction and another in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My trauma-informed approach incorporates DBT, CBT, ACT, and person-centered therapy. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional stability, and help you reconnect with your voice, identity, and personal strengths.

I provide telehealth therapy exclusively to Missouri women ages 18 and older, offering a flexible and private way to receive support from the comfort of your own space.

What Therapy With Me Is Like

Practical and Collaborative

We’ll work together to identify patterns, develop realistic coping strategies, and practice skills you can use outside therapy—not just talk about change.

Trauma-Informed and Individualized

Your experiences, needs, and pace matter. Therapy is tailored to you using evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and person-centered therapy.

Compassionate and Nonjudgmental

Therapy should feel emotionally safe. You’ll have space to speak honestly, explore difficult experiences, and feel understood without shame or judgment.
